Hugh has specialised in placing qualified accountants for many years, successfully working with candidates and clients from start-ups to some of the largest businesses in the world.
Hugh loves working with SMEs and high growth, disruptive businesses and in March 2020 he set up Spurling Goss to focus on helping candidates and clients specifically across this space.
Prior to his career in recruitment, Hugh gained degrees in Philosophy & Psychology and Law. He also worked for a high-profile government inquiry and spent several years in the film industry, specialising in legal and business affairs and dividing his time between London and Los Angeles.
